How to find the best television for you

Before explore this reviews you can remember that the first '5' on the list "best value TV" and the second '5' on the list "best overall TV" and the  final '5' on the list "best accessible TV".

#1
65-inch TCL 6-Series

The TCL 65-inch 6-Series Roku TV packs an incredible picture and a brilliant Roku operating system for a killer budget package.TCL may not be a brand that immediately comes to mind when you think of great TVs, but at this point, it really should be. Its reputation for churning out sub-par slop is dead and buried, and it is now producing phenomenal affordable TVs that rival those of LG and Samsung, especially when you factor in value. One major reason for TCL’s success? A long-standing partnership with Roku that sees roku os pre-loaded on all its latest TVs.The TCL 6-Series is also decked out with Roku voice control feature. There’s no option to search the web or control smart-connected appliances, but it does bundle all the commands that count. You can ask it to adjust the volume level, swap sources, and search for a particular movie or show across all the content services you’ve linked. What more could you want?

#2
Samsung Q90R

The Samsung Q90R is an excellent 4k TV with impressive picture quality. It has a high native contrast ratio, great local dimming support, and excellent black uniformity that allow it to deliver deep blacks in a dark room. The TV can get very bright in SDR and HDR, and it has a wide color gamut that allows it to deliver HDR content full of vivid colors and highlights that pop. Although it has a VA panel, the viewing angles are decent thanks to the 'Ultra Viewing Angle' technology. Motion handling is excellent and it has a low input lag for a responsive gaming experience. Furthermore, it has a 120Hz refresh rate and it supports FreeSync to reduce screen tearing.

#3
OLED 65CX series.

The OLED65CX is gorgeous. The star of the show, as usual with OLED TV technology, is how incredibly thin its screen is: for around two-thirds of its rear area it’s insanely skinny - just a couple of millimetres deep. Though of course, unless you’re fond of looking at the back of your TV rather than the front, you probably won’t notice this much once you’ve installed the set for the first time.Connections on the OLED65CX are plentiful and well specified - especially when it comes to HDMIs. There are four, all capable of handling 4K at up to 120Hz in 10-bit HDR with 4:4:4 chroma sampling. Something which might become important with the next generation of games consoles. The Home Hub screen that provides info on and control over other smart devices on your network benefits from an improved layout, and you can now customize the icons that appear when you press the Settings button.

#4
TCL 5-Series

The 5-Series marries superior 4K UHD picture quality with Dolby Vision HDR for a stellar imaging experience. The 5-Series’ HDR Dynamic Contrast technology uses information embedded in the Dolby Vision content to optimize every scene for an accurate display of details in the bright and dark areas simultaneously, unlike other HDR formats that have a set brightness level for all content. The 5-Series models’ iPQ Engine™ provides precise color replication while HDR Pro Gamma significantly improves HDR performance in any setting.

#5
Sony KD-49XH9505

There's a lot of pressure on the 49in KD-49XH9505 (XBR-49X950H in the States), as all three of its predecessors have taken home What Hi-Fi? Awards. While other challengers will emerge before the 2020 Awards deadline (the 49in version of the Samsung Q80T and 48in LG OLED CX could be very good), Sony's put itself in a great position to make it four in a row.You do also get a better remote that's neatly laid out and doesn't require line of sight in order to send commands to the TV.All told, this is a punchier and more richly coloured performer than its predecessor, with more dark detail and the excellent motion processing for which Sony is renowned. It sounds impressively weighty and solid, too.

#6
LG C9 OLED TV

The LG C9 OLED is an excellent TV. Like all OLED TVs, it delivers outstanding dark room performance, thanks to the perfect inky blacks and perfect black uniformity. It has an outstanding response time, delivering clear motion with no blur trail, but this does cause stutter when watching movies. This TV also supports HDMI 2.1 on all four ports, although there's currently little advantage to this, as there are no HDMI 2.1 sources available.Unfortunately, like all OLED TVs, there's a possibility of experiencing permanent burn-in, and the brightness of the screen changes depending on the content (ABL), which may bother some people.

#7
Philips OLED754 4K TV

While 4K LED LCD TVs can be picked up for a song these days, OLED screens have barely budged from their pricey perch. An impulse purchase they are not – especially since some of the best TVs you can buy are OLED – but cheaper OLEDs are becoming more common, and the Philips OLED754 is a very fine example. So fine, in fact, that's it's won our T3 Awards 2020 title as the Best TV under consideration.
Philips' entry-level OLED is one to watch if you’re after a superior picture without the high-end price tag – especially at the 55-inch size we tested (though a 65-inch version is also available). Delightfully, despite the low price you get both kinds of dynamic HDR supported here: HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. Plenty of much more expensive TVs don't support both, so this is a bit of a coup by Philips. The LG B9 is probably the nearest competitor to this TV in terms of image quality, but that model lacks the support for both kinds of HDR, and the illuminating Ambilight, while costing four figures still.

#8
BEST LED SONY 4K TV:Sony X950H

The best LED Sony TV we've reviewed so far in 2020 is the Sony X950H. It's the flagship 4k TV in their lineup and you don't have the permanent burn-in risk associated with OLED TVs with this one. It uses a VA panel that has a lower native contrast that most other VA panel TVs because Sony added the 'X-Wide Angle' layer to improve the viewing angles at the cost of its contrast ratio. It improves the viewing angles a bit, but they're still mediocre, so the TV isn't ideal for really wide seating arrangements. Also, there's a good full-array local dimming feature that slightly improves the contrast ratio. It has excellent peak brightness, enough to easily combat glare, and highlights pop the way they should in HDR. Its out-of-the-box color accuracy is also excellent and it displays a great wide color gamut for HDR content. It has an impressive response time and a 120Hz refresh rate, but it doesn't support any variable refresh rate technology.

#9
Samsung Q80T QLED

The Samsung Q80T is a great TV for most content, delivering crisp images with its fast response time, as well as a good HDR experience with its wide color gamut and high peak brightness. It has a great native contrast ratio that's boosted by a full-array local dimming, and its excellent color accuracy means you likely won't need to calibrate it. Viewing angles are decent due to Samsung's 'Ultra Viewing Angle' layer, making it suitable for moderately large rooms, and it can get bright enough to fight glare in nearly any type of setting. Input lag is extremely low, it has a 120Hz refresh rate, and to top it all off, it has support for variable refresh rate technology to reduce screen tearing. The screen has some minor uniformity issues that can be distracting for some, but as a whole, this is a great choice regardless of the content that you watch.

#10
Vizio M Series Quantum

The Vizio M Series Quantum delivers a premium quantum-dot display for a reasonable price and adds SmartCast 3.0 — Vizio's evolving smart TV platform — to make it the best TV you'll get for under comfort. With free content included right out of the box and a huge range of available apps and add-ons, it's also a great choice for cord cutters that want to ditch their cable bill for more personalized streaming options. With local dimming and color-boosting technology, the M Series Quantum has impressive picture quality and great HDR performance, complete with Dolby Vision support. A built-in Google Chromecast opens up a vast landscape of apps and services, and the updated SmartCast software includes support for Apple AirPlay 2 and HomeKit, making it just as good for iOS users.

How to find the best television for you?
When shopping for a new television online or in a store, these are the main things you want to consider. We are also specifying the values in percent. Most of the TVs do this, but if your considered TV has Brightness on a scale of 0-20, a 50% setting would be equivalent to setting it to 10.

Picture mode: Cinema or Movie (NOT Sports, Vivid, Dynamic, 3D etc)

Sharpness: 0% (This is the most specially one to set to zero — although Sony sometimes uses 50% for the “off” setting, bafflingly. If the image becomes blurry at 0%, try yo considered 50%)
Backlight: Whatever is adjusting, but usually at 100% for daytime use. Adjusting this will not detoriate picture quality.try 40% to adjust level at night.
Contrast: 100%
Brightness: 50% to 60%
Color: 50%
Hue: 0%
Gamma: 2.2 (or 0 if the TV doesn’t have it in a range of 1.8-2.9 but uses whole numbers as an alternative. Try to less find out. )
Tint (G/R): 50%
Picture Size or Aspect Ratio or Overscan:
Screen Fit (Samsung)
Just Scan (LG)
Wide Mode: Full screen (Sony) and Display Area: Full Pixel (Sony)
This may also show up as “Overscan: Off”
In general, you want to be able to see the TV name and clock from the Highfive device in the corners with a bit of available space around them — they should not be all the way up against the edges. Cycle through the various modes if it’s not named like the ones above, you’ll quickly see what is the 1:1 setting, and which ones cut off part of the picture.

A short brief about 4K or Ultra HD, 8K, HDR, OLED TVs.

Buying a TV requires navigating a sea of lingo—let's quickly define a few key terms for buying best TVs.

4K or Ultra HD apertain to television tech with four times the pixels (dots of light) than a traditional HD TV.
8K is four times that but don't worry, you can ignore 8K for at least a few years. 8K sets are still very expensive, and the 8K content you can watch on one of these sets is scarce.
HDR served for High Dynamic Range, and all good 4K TVs have it now. A TV with HDR tech has better contrast (brighter brights, darker darks) than older TVs.
Full-array backlighting means that there is a grid of lights behind the TV screen, instead of it being lit from lights on the edges.
Local dimming is enabled by full-array backlighting. It means the TV tries to intelligently lower the backlights in areas of your screen where a movie scene is darker, and brighten them in light spots.
OLED TVs assured every pixel on the display to independently light up or turn off. That  efficiency gives OLEDs vibrant color and deeper blacks than traditional LCD or LED TVs; LED and LCD TVs are mostly the same thing these days.
